... another Imaginary Hotel Mini-Break!

I desperately need a real hotel mini-break today... but this will have to do.

Today instead of sun, beaches and exotic tropical locations I am in the mood for winter, snow and the warmth provided by a nice fire.

Le Mélézin is located in the ski village of Courcheval 1850 in the heart of the Les Trois Vallées, the world's largest ski area.

I couldn't give a fuck about skiing, but this place looks so cozy and nice today.

Today's hotel, Amansara, is located in Siem Reap, the cultural heartland of ancient Khmer civilization in Cambodia.

I myself would never have really thought of Cambodia as a great vacation spot, but who knows?

An added benefit to vacationing in Cambodia could be that it would make listening to the Dead Kennedys' song 'Holiday in Cambodia' even more fun, in that you would be allowed to matter-of-factly tell anyone who would listen to you that you actually had been on holiday in Cambodia.

Enough of that, though... on to the hotel.....
